Beamer the cheerleader will try to convince everyone how great his team played. This team sucks rocks top to bottom.. Hope they lose out the rest of the season so we can find a real coach.

I think we need to to take a hard look at out defensive coaching staff. I think the offense plays pretty well. The DC position needs an upgrade.

Give reasons why firing coaches helps you people do not understand football....if you fire a coach in middle of the season and only after 2 years NO ONE will want to coach here!
We need a new defensive coordinator and philosophy on defense. We are too small on the line and get pushed around and cannot pressure the quarterback. We have recruited many 4star defensive backs but still cannot cover the pass.
He will be given as much of a chance as Muschamp. We just paid off that clown. I think we are stuck unless alumni with deep pockets (that's not me) step up. He needs to get rid of some coaches. Whether he has the cahonas to do that, I don't know. And honestly, I don't have confidence in his hiring ability. I believe the worry we have with Beamer is that he does not have the track record of winning as a Head Coach. That's why I always prefer someone with successful Head Coaching experience. It does not always work out even then. But more often than not, it does. Our most successful Head Coaches all had prior successful Head Coaching experience at the FBS level.
2-4 in spite of good coaching... it's all the team's fault no doubt.
This was a close, well fought game. Those calling to fire beamer just are not reasonable.
To be fair, I don't think they're doing it for just this game. They're doing it for what this loss likely means for the season. Pretty much all forward momentum for the program is gone.
In reality, Beamer will have to fail hard to get let go after next year.
No Beam will try to convince the dumb part of the fanbase that we are "young" and that's our problem. No bitch, after Rattler graduates we are totally ****ed.
If ole Shane"did it for the Gram" Beamer doesn't make it to a bowl game this year. How warm is his seat next year? He won't have Rattler, Leggette, Knox or Anderson. Literally our only players worth a shit. Next year could be really really really bad.
I've been watching Carolina football for 55 years and in that time they've hired up and coming young coaches,experienced veteran championship winning coaches,and everything in between and the results have for the most part always been the same,at best mediocre.
After a week off and at this point in the schedule is this team progressing or regressing? Giving up a 10 point lead at home in the 4th quarter with a great crowd is not a good look.
I am beginning to not care, sorta like in Basketball, not care how bad they get beat or how they can blow a double digit lead at home in 4th qtr. really don’t care.
I've found as I've gotten older, that Gamecock football defeats have bothered me less and less. A relative told me the same thing. One of the benefits in aging, I guess.
Hell, I turned the game off in the middle of the 3rd Q. I could see what was unfolding, we’ve all seen this debacle from Carolina for decades.
Not so sure about that. The little I've seen with Sellers I like...our biggest issues all have to do with lines and coaching in my opinion.

Beamer got a raise to 6.5 million because our fans kept hyping things up to be better than they were. I think that’s how some of our older fans have stomached this for eternity. It’s not about being a good team for them, it’s about believing you are a good team.
He got a raise for beating Clemson, something no other coaches seem to be able to do.
