- Quarterbacks coach G.A. Mangus says tomorrow's mini scrimmage will be the first big test for the QBs this preseason.

- Mangus says that QB Perry Orth is in the best shape of his life.

- Steve Spurrier Jr. says Pharoh Cooper has a little bit of a sprained hand but will be fine. They're still coaching Cooper up everyday, but he won't get hit much in the scrimmages.

- Spurrier Jr. congratulated Shamier Jeffery on his graduation from tomorrow.

- Senior tight end Jerell Adams believes he can be an All-SEC player if he puts it all together.

- Offensive lineman Cody Waldrop says he's 100 percent healthy and has been all summer. He's been working at both center and guard.

- Those players who were held out of Friday’s practice included cornerback Wesley Green (left knee), Spur T.J. Gurley (right hamstring), linebacker Jonathan Walton (right knee), defensive end Gerald Dixon (lower leg), defensive end Boosie Whitlow (right hamstring), tight end Connor Redmond (back) and defensive tackle Taylor Stallworth (pec muscle).

- Center Alan Knott says he's in the 280-pound range.
