Muschamp set to address the media at 12:30 p.m. at Williams-Brice. We'll have full updates as he is expected to address the quarterback situation and a bevy of other subjects.

Tag along for some fun. Updates will be in this post.

--Muschamp starts by thanking fans that stayed throughout the game Saturday and said the team needs the crowd there again this week.

--Kellen Mond has been really good this season and the team has a "stable of backs," and the team will have its hands full this week with that and a physical group of receivers. Defensively the Aggies' front seven are really disruptive and cause a lot of problems.

Injuries: Bentley practiced and if he is healthy he'll start. Ibe is out, Wonnum is jogging but is out and Eldridge Thompson is out and will have shoulder surgery Thursday that will end his season.

--The starting QB decision will be made before Saturday and Jake Bentley's played really good football, Muschamp said. He did say he feels comfortable with both quarterbacks.

--Muschamp said there is no correlation between penalties and winning. Said teams can coach through penalties but they don't tolerate undisciplined penalties but "penalty yards and winning championship teams."

--In terms of fixing a run defense the issue is not tackling well at the second level as well as they did last year. Said if the ball gets to the second level the safeties and linebackers need to do better about tackling to keep it at a 8-10 yard gain instead of a 30 yard one.

--Jaycee Horn has a lot of God-given talent but he has maturity that's different than most freshmen and handles the moment well. "He's not afraid of the moment."

--In terms of pulling Bentley if he struggles, Muschamp said the coaches are going to make decisions to win the game.

--Gamecocks weren't happy with some of the stuff in the run game Saturday and missed some things they repped in practice.

--In terms of punt protection, the Gamecocks missed a guy on the first botched punt but on the second one Charlton needs to catch the football. Punting was "awful" in Saturday's game and Charlton's been inconsistent punting. Kickoffs and coverage has been solid. Starting field position has been great because teams are kicking away from Deebo Samuel. Muschamp said "we'll take that."

"We need to get Bryan loose."

--Bryan Edwards practiced Tuesday and was fine on that ankle. Muschamp said he got fatigued on the injured ankle Saturday against Missouri.

--Muschamp hasn't asked Nick Harvey to share any inside information about Texas A&M. "We don't put players in that position."
