-crownover for Clemson pitched his way out of a lot of jams last night
The first inning changed the whole game when we had guys in position to score, it simply came down to execution
-crowe had a rough start. One of the analyst last night said his era was right at one at home but over six on the road, think this is more of a mental thing than anything
-5-9 hitters have to do something with their at bats. Making an out is fine if it is a productive out, bases loaded and no outs and get a pop out and two strikeouts is unacceptable
-we usually play loose against the taters but last night they looked like three more relaxed team. We need to get back to who we are
-finally, pick your heads up it was one game. We have two to go. If we execute then we will be fine. We pissed away every opportunity we had last night. Clemson tried to hand us the game several times but we didn't do anything with it. Start strong today and we will be fine.

You made some great points. No reason why we can't go 2-1 against them. HOWEVER, they're not a very good team. Man for man, between the 8 position players and the 3-man rotation on the weekend, can you name 2 position players and 2 pitchers that they have who could start for us? And let's face it, while Crowe didn't have his best stuff last night, neither did crownover.
I'm very disappointed to lose 1 game to them, not because they're clemson, but because they're not a very good team.

Just curious why you think Clemson is not a very good team? Aaron Fitt and Kendal Rogers from d1baseball.com both had Clemson as the #26 team in the preseason. Also both had C of C as probably the best mid major program in the country,but when we lost to them some acted like we lost to a HS team.

First inning two walks and no runs, bases loaded with no outs and we get one run in the 4th (?) on an error, bases loaded two out single would score two and ball hits our base runner?

Things like this is how, and why you lose in baseball.

While Clempsun isn't a great baseball team, they are good, and usually are.
