12 weeks away so I guess its time for the dreaded pre-season predictions. Preseason polls have the Gamecocks ranked at 13. Three teams on the schedule ranked ahead of us. Clemson (2), LSU (6) and Alabama (9). My guess is 7-5.

IF and Only if Sellers continues to improve, i say they win at least 8, hard to choose the wins, but if i HAVE TOO (lol) I say W's are 4 of first 5, SO 4-1 after UK. Then Take care of Oky, Ole Miss, Coastal and Taters.. An upset of a couple, puts them in Playoff Picture

Pre bowl game Sellers will help us succeed. Bowl game Sellers that is instructed to throw and not run out of the pocket and we have a disappointing season. Unless of course he is extremely successful, which is what Shula is trying to accomplish.

1) Will the defense be at least 80-90%+ as good as last season?

2) Will they find a RB even as close to as versatile and productive as Rocket to take some of the pressure off Sellers?

3) Will Harbor and the receiving core finally come into their own?

1) Kennard Major Major loss (gonna be tough to replace)
2) Apparently this kid from Utah, Faison, is touted as being just as good.
3) i think Receiving corps will be as good.
So IMO it all hinges on the play of Sellers and Stewart..

I really hope that bowl was just the staff and Sellers practicing.

Boatload of questions on D, and we need major step ups from RB's and WR's on top of that.

6 or 7 wins, but that's without digging into how many players our opponents swapped in and out too.

I still look to the VT game as the major indicator of the season.

It always comes down to the O-Line and D-Line. I see only 6 wins

Unfortunately SC will always have one of the toughest schedules in college Football. Will pretty much always have to “over achieve” to have a great season.
