This may be trivial to those who havent been longtime customers of Wells Fargo however those that are WF customers no longer have the ability to have the Gamecock block C logo on our WF debit and credit cards. Oddly those customers who are fans of Clemson, Auburn, Florida, North Carolina...even App State can still have their preferred team logo on their WF cards. I’ve done some research as to why this has happened and am told by our marketing dept that WF didnt renew their marketing contract. Why? I was told “we don’t want to cheapen our brand”...so in other words, we wanted more in $ than WF was willing to pay. So our instate rival and our SEC competion were able to agree on a contract and we couldn’t? Another example of inept, narrow minded, holier than thou thinking while our competition once again gets the upper hand. Call me crazy but this is a simple example of why we continue to eat Clemson’s dust. Comments please.
