Grading the Gamecocks: Georgia

  • Thread starter Brian Shoemaker

Sorry but the offensive line should get a C and give that D grade to the QB. Most of his stats were in the second half where we were playing junk ball anyways. Offensive line gave him plenty of protection all day. He doesn't get a pass. D for QB and that's being generous.

Special teams also shanked a punt that gave them 3 points right before half. That was huge in swinging momentum. They get a D grade as well. Offensive line was the most impressive unit yesterday. Defense was just flat out garbage.

I don't know what game Brian Shoemaker and Colin Taylor were watching because Jake Bentley had a solid F.

Bryan McClendon had a solid F. T. Williams started to run the ball pretty well and then all of a sudden they stopped running the ball.

our offense uses virtually no misdirection and they try to force the ball of the Deebo Samuel think he's the only good player we have or something. Shi and Edwards are the ones who need the ball. Edwards ran like a grown-ass man with the ball. He carried like three players after his catches.

And the QB keeper inside the 5 yard line. WTF was that. Bentley is not a skilled runner by any stretch of the imagination.

It honestly looked like one of those games most teams play first on the schedule. You know. Like we did last week.

Yeah if he was going to run why didn’t he take off like Connor Shaw half a dozen times the line held and there was room to game 7-8 yds. Geez

When the goal is to compete and you’re losing 41-10 in front of a home sellout crowd halfway thru the 3rd quarter there are plenty of Fs. Anyone who thinks otherwise is a sunshine pumping moron.
