I can report with 100% confidence that Tennessee made a major run at Grady Brown this week and sought to poach him from SC with an offer that exceeds his current salary by an amount in excess of $100,000/year. The effort and offer were made by a Vol staff member very close to Grady Every Gamecock loyalist will be proud and enthused to know that Grady enthusiastically REJECTED this opportunity to enhance his income materially and never gave it serious consideration reaffirming his belief that he has landed in a great situation and commitment to SC. Likewise, both in terms of the demand for his coaching talent and his commitment to the program, looks like Grady Brown was a great hire.
