Spurrier hasn't forgotten how to coach, we just don't have the players to make it work. During our 3 year run we had the players, that's the difference. Our last class and the 2016 class are not going to help the situation. If you want to compete with the top of the league, you have to recruit with them. Pharoh is probably the only starter on both sides of the ball that could start for any of the top schools are in our league.

It's too late for him to anything about that now. He's going to have to leave it for the next guy to deal with. Spurrier doesn't think he needs to recruit hard, because he sees all these 3 stars and 2 stars in his camps that he thinks looks good and he offers a bunch of them. That is what calls recruiting. Then just plug holes with a bunch of walkons and that is good enough for him. Why go out and spend a bunch of time and money and effort going after the players everyone else wants when all this amazing talent just comes to him? smdh.

It will take 2 or 3 yrs of recruiting to help this mess. So unless he got another 4 or 5 yrs in him he is a lame duck
