Look, i get most people on this board dont want to look at the streak of non losing season or the number of winning seasons in the SEC.. we should hope to be better than that and not just hope for winning seasons.

BUT if you look at the 8 seasons (not 8 complete seasons) you can see a trend that is very optimistic

***2012-13 Year 1 - 14-18 (4-14) the only good players transfered out before the season started took over a BAD program

***13-14 Year 2 - 14-20 (5-13) 2 SECT wins but had a couple big wins and played more competitive against good teams(also lost PG after 3 games with Bruce moving on from basketball)- this makes it hard to win
***14-15 Year 3 - 17-16 (6-12) his first Recruiting class getting better SIn slowed by tendentious
***15-16 year 4 - 24-7 (11-7) broke through won every OOC game - not a strong schedule but beat NCAA teams in OOC lost to GA 3 times
Lost 8 players betweens seasons, (4 were kicked out, 4 graduate)

***16-17 year 5 - 26-11 (12-6) make final 4
Lost 5 players between seasons (3 graduated, 1 medically retired, 1 left early for NBA)
Just before the season find out that Starting PG is suspended- would never play for carolina again

***17-18 year 6 - 17-16 (7-11) - lack of PG cost carolina 5-6 games
starting to see the impact of losing so many players over the 2 year period - relied on Grad transfers because lost many contributing underclassmen that were kicked out - seniors graduate

***18-19 year 7 - 16-16 (11-7) lot of young players in a strong recruiting class slow start with a very young team but got better each week. Lawson got injured toward the end of the year when it looked like we were a tournament team

***19-20 year 8 (current) 18-13 (10-8) Young but talented team had a slow early start due to youth but great quality wins and a deep team that should return all but 1 key contributor (kotsar)

If you look at the big picture you can see that frank has improved the roster and the results (record) each year he has been at carolina with the exception of the mass roster losses the year before and after the FF run.. this is a good sign and he finally has roster stability

I wouldnt expect a big dip again like we saw in 17-18 for 16-17 because i dont expect to have 6 players leave the team for reason other than graduating or transferring because they didnt play much. (transfers and graduation is normal attrition. the others are not.

Frank has built a program and trends as well as looking at the roster would suggest we will be even better next year.

long post sorry but wanted to write this out to some people who just say 1 of 8 NCAA because they didnt start watching Carolina basketball till the NCAA tournament in 17
