in just three years we are playing our way out if the rankings...
SC fans are a gracious, loyal, diehard bunch- and toleration of mediocrity can be one of the negatives that stems from such qualities.
We should have higher standards for our only major men's sports with any championship worth a damn.
This is listless baseball- listless fielding, pitching and hitting... all on national TV too.
And MSU has been in a hitting slump- but as the announcer just said- it looks like tonight they should be leading the country in batting average.
This cannot continue

Remember though, "we're right where we should be if you look at past trends". None of the poor play can be pinned on Holbrook. He's still learning how to manage.

Seems like a coach who invest in a hitting facility would have players who could actually hit the baseball.

Plus USC has always been know for defense and this team commits high school level errors-physically and mental. What a mess this is developing in to.

It's only going to get worse... I don't know, If I were Ray, I would be very disturbed at how south things are trending. He needs to stop shaking hands and shake some heads.

This season is very, very disappointing, but I don't think there are fans with higher expectations than ours. I guess I fall somewhere in between. There are so many things that go into baseball, but this is inexcusable.

Tanner is going to be of the frame of mind "Things are only going to be worse." We're going to be stuck with Holbrook, so here is to Holbrook hopefully becoming a better coach in sometime in the next few years. sigh...
