I’ve watched Duke all year. They are poorly coached IMO. You take talent like that and get hammered by VT and UNC and Miami and Flor. State. They don’t guard anybody. When they get down with about 8 minutes left, they either go one-on-one against a stacked defense or Jack up a bunch of long shots, get out-rebounded by smaller, less athletic teams, etc. Even FM teams get better as the year progresses, but not Duke. The old man is over-rated.

K's failures lately are his own creation. Years ago K bought into the one and done recruiting tactic. But his issue is that he always prided himself on defense, and when you always have a rotating lineup from year to year, you just cannot build that. Look at Boncero. He is as good of an offensive player as there is. But on the defensive end, he is lost. And he doesn't care to put in the effort. He knows he is going to the league to make millions.
