I absolutley hate Darrin Horn

Why do you hate Horn? He's a guy trying to make a living? No different than you or I? Apparently somebody thinks he knows basketball. They guys at ESPN/SECN doing the hiring apparently disagree with you. Agreed he wasn't so successful here, but time to move on.
Probably because Horn convinced two future stars to transfer from USC because he was pissed about getting fired.

According to Eric Hyman, He doesn't have the "war chest of credibility" of Dave Odom---but he is "building a program".

Dave Odom "war chest of credibility". I actually had forgotten about that one. And that statement was made after everyone in the free world knew that Odom was bailed out by USC as Wake was gletting his contract run out after the next year. What a wasted hire. Of course, in USC's defense, I think they tried to hire every coach with a winning record in the country and we're turned down. Sort of a marriage of convenience.
As far as Horn.....it does say a lot that he is on TV. His coaching skills are so in demand that he hasn't even gotten a sniff as a head coach since he ran our program in the ground.

That's true about Odom. WF partied when USC hired him away but it seems to me that the admin could have settled for someone with a little more fire and vigor. Even a Horn hire would have been better than Odom. At least, we wouldn't have had that warchest quote with Horn and USC could have moved onto another MBB coach much sooner. A lot of wasted years with both of those hires.
I feel that USC has finally hired a MBB coach that will lead us to the old glory days. He has more energy than Elliot and that is saying a lot.

Which Hyman quote was dumber "the warchest of credibility" or the "subconscious progess" we were making under Horn.

That says a lot about the sad state of USC MBB. Fogler may have been the 2nd best, at least for a coupla years.
