UConn has the # 1 recruit next year in Samuelson.Samuelson's sister went to Stanford .Why she is coming to UConn from California is a little bit of a mystery .Perhaps she sees NCAA championships in her future at UConn . She is very good shooter on the perimeter .

Auriema and UConn are a cut above everybody this year ,at tournament time .Discount the early season loss to Stanford.Doesn't mean a thing .Auriema will use this as a motivation ,because he doesn't want the team to be too complacent ..UConn plays in one if not the worst major girls' college basketball conferences ,The AAC .Check out the teams .UConn routinely routs these teams by 30 plus points. Absolutely no competition in America Athletic Conference .This is the main reason UConn has to go out of conference and play teams like Stanford ,Notre Dame ,University of South Carolina ,Duke, Tennessee ,Etc .

With the # 1 recruit in Samuelson ,they will be every bit as good in 2015- 2016 as they are this year .

Teams like University of South Carolina ,Duke ,Baylor, Notre Dame ,Tennessee,North Carolina etc are going to have to work extremely hard in the off season if they hope to have any chance against UConn in 2015-2016.

Last point : no team is invincible .somebody or some team can come up with a strategy to beat UConn .But it will be difficult .

Three things doomed us:

1. their bigs were faster than our bigs and took us off the dribble every time either with easy layups or reverse layups; hopefully Wilson is ready next time to guard Stewart instead of forcing Aleigsha to play her with such a height disadvantage

2. their 3 point shooting was beyond spectacular -- uncanny really; I'd put Aleigsha on the big girl who was shooting those

3. Our lack of physicality was shocking -- we normally out physical the other team by a long shot -- but we just didn't for whatever reason

All correctable (except their 3 point shooting which is highly unlikely to be replicated next time), but only time will tell if we can.

you can't just give UConn the trophy because they've underestimated a team before, and lost. They aren't going to underestimate us though unfortunately.

I hope we made a two game deal with U Conn to come here next year . Don't mean to whine but if that game had been played at CLA there would have been 5 more moving screens and 5 more push offs called. Hey we got our asses cut but it reminded me of the Vegas Fix with the terrible one sided calls. Their Beefaloe was awesome with push offs prior to receiving the balls on her 3s. .My point will be proven if they come here next year and we kick their ass fairly with making 20 more free throws

We have 4 McDonald's All-Americans on our team and they have 6. 3 of ours are freshmen and 1 is a sophomore, so we will continue to improve. UCONN has an outstanding team and we need to improve... and we will.

Everything I've seen and read indicates that the contact is for a home and home deal between USC & UCONN. Huskies to play in CLA next season.
