I gotta say, this years team has taken me by surprise

Don’t know what you guys think, but I’ve enjoyed not playing UGA, Florida, and Tennessee this year.

I'd personally prefer to have a crack and UGA or UT next weekend versus Wofford.

We could potentially improve on playoff resume as both of them sit at 2 losses in the conference.

Not to mention, it's been fun playing a bunch of meaningful games all season against some of the brass in the league.

Any bowl game will likely be anti-climatic.

I hope you guys are right with the Spurrier comparisons.

To my dismay, Beamer has locked up another 3-4 years as HC. So we will see if he can get us into multiple playoffs over that span

We're "right" in the moment which is all we have to work with in terms of evaluation.

Coaching contracts are out of our control and are dictated by market factors.

Following this season, the focus will be on Year 5.

Spurrier was 7-6 in both year's 4 & 5.

Also important to note that we're using our best coach in history as a metric and he ain't coming back.

There is no such thing as being right in the moment. That's just what losers tell themselves so they can avoid admitting they're wrong in the end.

The entire question is if you're perceiving the current data and making the right conclusion. You don't get credit for perceiving the current data and coming to the wrong conclusion.

Troll - The current data and perception thereof has Beamer performing as well as Spurrier did over a 4-year time frame.

In fact, Beamer is now outperforming in Year 4 with tougher competition and the NIL to contend with.

Although considering your storied history of winning, we probably need to get your perspective on the matter.

Unsurprising you're the loser trying to claim victory early.

Let's face it. He could win a National Championship and the usual haters would complain because he didn't look good doing it. Haters gonna hate. Maybe Beamer is the long term solution, maybe he ain't but there isn't a damn person out there who honestly saw this season coming with this schedule. Give the freaking guy credit where credit is due. Next year you can crap on him all over again. In our history, we don't win many (any) games like this past one. That has to count for some damn thing.

I would disagree with this as much as someone saying that Shane could have a losing season and the usual pumpers would celebrate it.

Of course, one or two DID that, so maybe you're right.

Here's to testing your theory. :)
