Seems a little much to me!!😎

My daughter is a college swimmer, I've seen worst by the pool...
The human physique is beautiful and athletes showcase this truth. I don’t want athletes in burkas.

Uniforms should function to increase performance and comfort while performing. Many times that lends itself to streamlining appearance. We also use athletic bodies to sell or sexualize/objectify the athletes.

Where is the line?? I don’t know? But I do think we should ask the question. Especially when athletes use their uniforms to perform and create a brand for themselves. For a 18 yo, great!!! But I get a little uneasy with some of the younger athletes especially women. Maybe that is sexist or just my protective nature.

I go to athletic events to see athletes compete. But young athletes are generally beautiful. I don’t want to be a dirty old perv in the stands and God knows there plenty of them. Athlete’s physical beauty is a by product of intense training. To just leer diminishes the hard work they have done.

Lastly on a personal note. Men’s basketball shorts in old days were the pits. Uncomfortable and you tell which way someone hung and almost if they were circumcised or not🤣🤣

Before you pass judgement, I suggest you go to a USC swim meet and see all the beauty and speed. There is a reason for the skimpy uniforms...

Was not meaning to pass judgement, and apologize. But clearly in my comments I said that form followed function as regards to uniform. I have season tickets M&WBB, W&M Soccer, Volleyball. I see powerful and fit athletes without adding swimming. I am Just trying to ask where is the line is and ruminating on that. Do you think there is a line?

As far as the uniform? I will allow it, and will also give a shout to the Womens European Beach Handball League for the fine levied against the prudish Norwegian team for wearing too much. Rules clearly state that bikini bottoms must be worn. I fully support that ruling

Any shorter, she'd be wearing a thong. Not that I really care one way or the other.
