We are not used to winning. If you want to be the national champion, then you have to beat all comers. Most of what I hear is whoa is me, we will always be bad. Do something instead of complaining. Who’s got a few spare million dollars to help our cause?
This comes down to dollars and cents. You know that the SEC bean counters have done their homework and determined what adding Texas and OU will add to the bottom line. Combine that with the disastrous financial decisions recently made (Muschamp's buyout clause in his contract) by the USC administration, I suspect that our guys will be "all in" with bringing Texas and Oklahoma to the SEC.
None of us KNOW how Beamer will do. But, it's hard to deny that he is recruiting VERY well, thus far. If he turns out to be as good of a coach as his Dad (who was never a great recruiter), we will be back to being a TOP 10 program, as we were under Spurrier.
