To be even possibly considered for the playoff, we would have to dominate Clemson. Ole Miss is going to whip Miss State and if Bama wins convincingly against Auburn they have the best chance to be the fourth SEC team in. I'll root for Vandy obviously but that will be a tough matchup.
They showed the Allstate playoff predictor chart on ESPN and it had the following percentages for us to make the playoffs:
Right now: 24%
If we beat Clemson: 56%
Right now: 24%

Does a Boise loss matter when they are likely to win their conference anyway? Not sure Tulane can catch them as the 5th conference champion but if they do, it does us no good either way I believe
Truly amazing that Beamer and staff have us on the playoff bubble. Who thought that was possible at the beginning of the season?
What do the players get if they play in CFP? It's not like a bowl game when they get a gift bag. Is it like the NFL? They would get cash?

It was interesting. If we beat Clemson, the predictor said our percentage of making the playoff increased to 56%, while Bama's dropped to 33% and Ole Miss dropped to 3%. I guess the overall opinion is them beating Miss State doesn't help much obviously.
They did a superior job in the Transfer Portal. With players no longer having to sit out a year, success in the Portal will define each upcoming season. Teams will be different from one year to the next. You know what Forrest Gump said about a box of chocolates.
As stated multiple times above, all we can control is beating clemmy.

It's great for recruiting to have Carolina mentioned in every playoff conversation on every channel for the last few weeks, so win or lose we got that. Huge game for both teams and clem is favored and at home so regardless of how good we all feel about Carolina it's a tall order. Go Cocks!

Clemson is favored but only because the game is at their place. If it was at Willy B, I could see us favored by 7. We need to kick their sorry butts.
Hopefully we’ll see that Steel sharpens Steel and marshmallows make you soft af. Blitzkrieg em from the kick and watch it snowball aka Oklahoma, A&M style. Gotta keep the boot on their throats till the last second ticks off. Fingers crossed 🤞
