Typically it seems like it takes three plus years of a coach showing steady improvement before signing the better recruits.

A lot of posters say you have to win to get great recruits but I read on IF that Fla is No. 8 in recruiting so...... Hopefully Boom can work his black magic and get some of the Tenn and Fla recruits to turn.

It’s gonna take time and a lot of effort. It’s easy to recruit at those schools because there’s a nostalgia and history of dominance that people can’t get over. It’s like choosing a beat up old 67 Mustang Shelby GT500 over a decent 2015 Ford Fusion. You know kinda the mustang is crap but if it were restored it’d be a Barrett Jackson showpiece. Ford Fusion will never be a show piece, so even though we’re doing better (7-3) it’s gonna take time. You can only preach come and build something with us or be the first so many times.
