If we get one more receiver to step up next season I think we can truly be a top two team in the SEC East.

Probably so, but the key to having a much better season is getting better OLinemen
I don’t think it was necessarily the OL personnel but more so about communication. Once we rotated the younger OLmen in their I saw a much better pass protection from a 1 on 1 standpoint. But the communications and confusion at the beginning of the season definitely was annoying. If we play like that this season we will lose our first game.
Douglas did most of the protection calls over QB after the Bye week and we had all of our good games on OL with Douglas making the calls and whoever the young LT was taking reps.
We just lost a LBer to the portal. That’s another position that we are below average in.
That may be a little bit of a stretch...I just hope we beat UK, UT, Mizzou this next time around...
I think that moving up to the top two in the SEC East will involve two or three steps over three or four years. I'm talking about being at or near that level regularly.
If we beat those three we’re most likely be the 2nd team in the East
I think we have to build up to that. I could see beating two of them next season.

College never really been about building all the time. I remember auburn being one of the worst teams in the sec and next season going to the national championship. When Mizz first joined the sec they were the worst team and the next season went to the sec championship game. A lot can change in a year in college football if you have the right pieces. Our team doesn’t have to be perfect, just need some luck and consistent offense and defense play.
Theoretically, that is correct. Having it happen a particular year at a particular place is spiking pretty formidable odds.
If Rattler plays up to his potential we could see a 9 or 10 win season. He is that talented but I think that sets us up for a step back the following season. I'm excited to see just what we can put on the field next year. Time for Mr. Loyd to step up in the backfield.
