If it’s true and he ends up missing the season...
I feel bad for Bentley honestly.
He’ll never play another snap at Carolina and he was set to leave school with every single passing record.
He’s supposed to miss 6 weeks at the minimum and he could miss the entire season, so at that point he’s going to qualify for a redshirt this season.
So now you’ve got a situation where Hilinski has played 8 to 11 games, and I just see no way where they just give Bentley the job back after that. If they did it would divide the team and you risk losing Hilinski at that point.
So I only see this ending in Bentley graduate transferring to another school to finish his senior season.
