If we had hit our free throws and shot just 42% from the field this game is a runaway. We absolutely killed them on the boards hut couldn't get the ball in the basket. Happy for a win but much room for improvement.
I just don't see much scheme going on with the offense. Looks almost completely freelance to me.
It was Western Kentucky. Personally, I won't even judge the coach for a couple years. Not that I wanted to keep Frank around for.more guaranteed mediocrity, but he got his revenge for being fired by basically talking everyone into leaving. Except for a couple, this team is devoid of talent that can beat anyone decent. But have to go through this to get to the other side.
And you are probably correct. My take is Moe is BEGINNING to learn where.... and when Larry will be there. Believe me, I'm not a pumper in any sense but, my garnet glasses colored a pre-Christmas surprise and right now, I'll take what I can get.

I had my doubts about winning any conference games this year. Now I dont know, we might just win a couple if we stay on track. Looks like they are getting a little more comfortable with each other. Passes looked a little crisper and I thought we had fewer lackadaisical type moments. Good to see.

We are improving on our defense. This is very good.
We can be a good team if we continue this. Defense is work but
a good defense always improves offense. And will win most close games.

Considering a win over WKU and labeling it a "BIG WIN" speaks volumes about the state of the program.
