Is the new transfer policy going to ruin college football?

It seems to be getting out of hand. I firmly believe the one and done rule ruined college basketball. Hopefully, there will be a way to control it.
It's going to suck when we have a good young player and team like Alabama will get him to transfer. "Jaheim Bell, I know you are starting at Carolina, but you will never make the championship there. Why don't you come to Bama and play for a natty? Oh, here is a NIL contract for $2 million waiting for you as well."
As soon as you bench a starter, it won't be "come on man, work hard and earn your starting spot back." It will be "Jump in the transfer portal".
I understand that the players should have their right to fix what they consider to be a mistake. If a Fr takes a Jr players starting spot, I can see a need for it there. I just think the roster turnover will be crazy and it will hurt college football in general.
