He recently had a small role in the Middle, where he played Frankie's father, Tag; he only made one or two appearances a year on that show but he was good, nonetheless.

He was so funny on Coach. I also loved his banjo playing on the Dick Van Duke show. Coach seemed to be less funny after it took the Orlando move.
