Gee, considering everything about this year's class and the number of, I HOPE they screwed us considering the number of decommits we lost. Otherwise, it appears as if we just couldn't hold onto a very large group of 'flippers'.Originally posted by G-C-Gamecock:
I don't think they're out. Reassigned or given a supervisor, but not fired.
No. I know a couple of coaches in GA for two kids we were recruiting and they said our staff was doing a great job.Originally posted by Bleedgandb3334:
Do you any of you think this class was sabotaged by Ward or Adams?
Yes, because they f***ed up our defense so badly that recruits didn't want to come here.Originally posted by Bleedgandb3334:

In mid-January, when Steele and Orgeron were hired at LSU, Haley was demoted and in Miles' press-conference he addressed Haley as an "intern". Apparently, when Haley was hired in 2008, Miles demoted the current the DL coach (Earl Lane) to an admin. position and it looks like Haley is being done the same way. According, to a paper in La., if Haley is still there in June, they will then address what his duties will be. I imagine this would be very insulting to someone as experienced as Haley and he may opt out to take a position at another SEC school.Originally posted by The Real Ess:
I have a feeling the Brick Haley rumor is just that. It doesn't seem like any kind of step up for him to come here to do the same job. Lateral move at best. He might be leveraging a raise.
Then he has gotten a raw deal. In his 5 years there, he has coached no less than 9 NFL draftees. And he would likely be welcome (and an upgrade) here. Fair or otherwise, Deke has the smell of Whammy all over him. We have a lot of JuCo talent coming in. This defense will improve quickly.Originally posted by G-C-Gamecock:

Agree. Miles saw an upgrade with Haley and stepped on Lane, now he sees Orgeron as an upgrade and stepped on Haley. It would be hard to stomach seeing someone like Haley take an admin. role when other teams (ours) would consider him a huge upgrade and not hesitate to say so. Apparently, all of the LSU coaches contracts were brought up in a Supervisor's agenda...except Haley's.Originally posted by The Real Ess:
