Just saw where Justin signed with the Tampa Bay Rays under the daily transactions. Good for him as he's a baller who obviously deserved a chance. Wish him the best as he chases his dream. Wish Demurias would have stayed another year, 27th round pick, and we moved him to starting rotation to improve his draft stock. Even as a junior I'm sure you don't have much leverage to negotiate a decent signing bonus when you're drafted that low.

Was reported by John Whittle that Justin Row failed his physical for Tampa Bay and was not signed. Had labrum surgery in 2014 and this caused a failed Tampa Bay physical.
Also reported that Hunter Taylor played with a cracked vertebrae for half the year and this caused a failed physical also. He will not sign a pro contract per Whittle.
