Kai Kroeger Left Off Ray Guy Finalist List

Actually pretty angry. Normally would care less about kickers but Kai has been awesome. He single handedly was one of the reasons we won Saturday. Not to mention the guy has had a golden arm to match it.
I don’t watch these other guys regularly, but I wouldn’t trade our guy for anyone. Obviously biased but he’s been doing a great job consistently for a while.
I said after Saturdays game if Kroeger doesn't get All-American and Ray Guy awards there's something wrong with the system. And I think Jeter is 10-10 on field goals this year. Overall ST were fabulous.

I think this award is given by the Augusta Sports Council so this is a pretty blatant snub.
"The Ray Guy Award winner is selected by a voting body of Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) sports information directors, national media and former Ray Guy Award winners. Punters are evaluated on their overall statistics and contribution to the team. Particular emphasis is placed on the following statistics; net average, percentage of total punts inside the 20-yard line and percentage of punts not returned."
Pretty obvious the voters purposefully skipped over him.

Kroeger is a vital part of our team and regardless of whether it is recognized by anyone else GameCock fans know just how good he is. Its an obvious snub and I hate it for him. These people who picked the finalists should be ashamed.
