Was he? Obviously I didn't look it up. I'm surprised....due to his height...he was a 4 star. Not surprised due to his ability. I watched him be the best player on the field vs. NW in state championship game.

Ellington was a 4-star Athlete. He was also a 4-star basketball prospect, too. He was a South Carolina Mr. Football finalist out of Berkely for 2009, losing out to Marcus Lattimore: Dylan Thompson was also a finalist that year:

Well since this seems to be a thread for stereotyping based on race, we at least know he can catch. That’s a start for our receiver group. We did much better this year I will admit but last year we couldn’t catch a cold.

Why aren't y'all more excited about Landon Samson? He had 48 receptions for 864 yards. Averaging 18 yards per catch and 86.4 yards per game with 13 TD catches. A 4-star on Rivals and top 250 player. Will soon be Rattler's go to guy.

It is asinine to assume that a white receiver will never accomplish anything at the NCAA or NFL level. This negative stigmatization of a white athlete is also racist too and must cease. Last time I checked, NFL Wide Receivers like Cooper Kupp and Hunter Renfrow are having outstanding seasons. I for one am super pumped for signing Landon Samson. He is the prototypical impactful slot receiver and should contribute big time next season!
