Why wouldn’t you want a Coach who can win championships and play in major bowl games here? I think most fans want a Coach who can take us to the next level.

That’s undeniably wrong. Here’s a guy who played DE at App. You think he doesn’t know triple? Now whether the players were motivated to stop it or not is another thing. That takes discipline and want to. And we had very little of that in 2015
No fan is going to object to that. Spurrier has come far closer to getting us there than anyone else has.
Don’t try to play me. That team had nothing to play for at that point. Their leader had just given up on them.
He intentionally left it in bad shape. Top 9 players on our recruiting board who were committed, de-committed when Spurrier made his comment. Been screwed since that comment until Beamer arrived! F**k Spurrier!!!
If you think an interim coach with a week to prepare, can change an undisciplined unmotivated team to play after their leader quit on them then you know a lot less about sports and football than even I thought you did. Generally you and I agree. But the loss to citadel is not because of Shawn Elliot.
Interm coaches step in and win every season. The team was not in revolt. We had better players at every position and we managed to find a way to lose. You might as well use the weakest of all loser excuses. We didnt want to be there.

Some smoke coming from L.A. Chip Kelley's contract expires on 1/15 (no buyout $$) Locals and admin are not exactly enamored with his performance so far. Now USC (yeah, I know) hires Riley bringing new life to that program.
LK has just had an exodus of players and coaches. Chatter about him reaching out to UCLA.
This will be interesting to see how or if this plays out.

Definitely better than Holtz and Beamer, I'm not sure about Spurrier, a lot of offensive talent in that first team he got from Holtz.
Hopefully for Kiffin’s employer, whoever that may be, he will bring in and mentor a younger coach to take over when he knows he’s about to step away.

Decent skill talent. oL was a question mark. Seems like we are always saying that. Maybe we need to create a pipeline to the Midwest and begin to scoop up some of those beefy corn fed fellas!
I do like his mindset where if he cant score at least 45 points, he didn't do a good job. Heard him say something like that once, it stuck with me. Dude has a high bar.
