Spurrier, Muschamp, & Beamer all finished with the same record after 2 years. The 1st two with 1 win better in conference.
All 3 inherited rebuilding programs. Definitely some debate who inherited the worst. My vote Muschamp. Again all 3 overachieved year one and had great 2nd year's. Unbelievable Muschamp the best at 9-5 with a bowl win.
With that being said what are realistic expectations for Beamer year 3. My thoughts, Rattler and Wells come back who knows. Let's look at the 2023 schedule.

So far recruiting class looks good and 2024 class potential looks better.
Transfers so far we are not coming out ahead. Definitely lost way more talent then we have coming in so far.
Bottom line - Beamer will be praised if he can hold onto Rattler and Wells and pick up a few more high end transfers that can help Gamecocks back to another Great Bowl game & possible top 10 recruiting class. Lose out on Rattler & Wells have a pedestrian season finish below top 20 in recruiting and everyone will be back to 2nd guessing everything.
