Link: McClendon expected to call plays from field again

Is he allowed to stand on a lift to see the field better? Lol.

Seems like these things usually work out short-term, 1 or 2 games, and then fall apart. I don’t have any facts to back that up, but just seems like that’s how these things go.

Seemed to work in the Missouri game also. If it works keep doing it!
If I were a coordinator I would prefer being in a booth to get a bird's eye view of the defense but then again Spurrier was a master play caller from the field. I guess that s why he was paid the big bucks and I'm just a meaningless fan on a message board.

I know it's McClendon's first year and all, but I would hope this sort of thing would have been figured out before the season started.

Well, being in the booth didn't seem to work. So why not try something different. Definition of insanity and all that.

McClendon prefers the booth I’m sure as do most OC’s. He moved down to the field to be with the WRs because of so many dropped passes.

I say strap him to the Booger McFarland mobile!
