Aside from the best bowls, bowl games are nothing more than glorified scrimmages. At this point, I've recognized there is no point in continuing to argue against more bowl games... they're coming whether I like them or not. With these new bowl games, 66% of teams will play in bowls. So... why don't they just take the next step and have a bowl game for every team? 100% of teams playing in bowls. Because right now playing in a bowl game is not an achievement. And the few teams that are terrible enough not to make a bowl game are the teams that need the bowl practice time the most.

me to cock of earle. if you don't want to see them, there are 250 more channels you can watch. if someone makes money, and the schools and players want to play. then play. people always gripe about the independence bowl. but thank God for it this year.
