Hello all and welcome into what is the hottest day of the year so far. Gamecocks in a huge rubber match with Missouri today at 1:30 p.m. They need a win today for four straight SEC series wins and to guarantee a 15-15 conference record.
Win today would also go a long way for a postseason berth. They'll need a strong outing from Cody Morris, who's been shaky lately and labored through his last few outings. He's 6-3 with a 4.74 ERA this season.
Mizzou will counter with LHP Tyler Laplante (4-2, 2.93 ERA) and has started eight games.

Before we start, happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there, including my especially awesome one. All the player's moms who are here today will throw out the first pitch pregame.
