Hello all and welcome to the unusually warm media room at Williams-Brice. Usually an icebox, it's pretty nice in here. Will Muschamp set to put a pin in his third recruiting class at South Carolina at 4 p.m. today.

Gamecocks currently have 22 members signed, 20 of which signed in December. Only signees currently listed by the university as of 3:50 are Rick Sandidge, a big get for this staff that committed around 2:30, and Dylan Wonnum, the brother of DJ Wonnum.

Stay tuned for plenty of coverage from signing day and anything else Will Muschamp has to say about the team moving into spring workouts.

Will Muschamp enters clean shaven.

--Lavonte Valentine still coming off an ACL injury so he's not going through winter workouts. Joyner's impressed as well.

--Hank Manos is up to 275 pounds. Wyatt Campbell is coming off a meniscus surgery and won't go through winter workouts but will be ready for spring practice.

--Ernest Jones has a fracture in his back from high school. He'll miss spring ball but will be ready after that.

--Israel Mukuamu will play cornerback. Muschamp saw that immediately. Said he adds immediate length to the secondary.

--On Dylan Wonnum: Can set the edge and play tackle on the offensive line. Said the Wonnum family is great.

--On Sandidge: "Very powerful man inside. Can obviously anchor inside." Said he can also play end as well. Said he's enjoyed getting to recruit Sandidge and getting to know the family.

--"We hit the exclamation point with Dylan and Ricky."

--Spring ball starts Feb. 28, spring game March 31 at noon. Almost all of the team will take part in spring practice. Only ones that aren't are the summer enrollees.

--BAW will be limited in spring practice, Jaylin Dickerson will be out but will be good to go for the fall. Antoine Wilder having surgery on his elbow and won't be in spring. Ben Asbury has an ACL injury and will be back for the fall. Mon Denson will be available after spring break. Deebo Samuel will be limited in spring. Jam Williams out for the spring.

--With two spots left in the class, Muschamp said he "absolutely" has someone in mind to fill those two spots.

--Said the team's short numbers and experience wise in the secondary.

--Muschamp on Eric Wolford: "I think he's done a fantastic job. I like the mental makeup of the room we have."

--Muschamp said having Terry Googer working with recruiting is great. Said he's a great ambassador who works really well with parents and players both.

--Muschamp said with the early signing period and signing so many guys in December it helped the staff get a good jump on the 2019-20 classes. They're further along with those than they had been in past years.

--On the combine: Said he's proud of the players that did get an invite but said he thinks there should have been more.

--"Right now our guys are getting oriented to the weight room." Said it's helping them get ready for a hectic fall. "It's a slower process for them at this time," which is beneficial without the pressure of a game.

--Muschamp said there's been a "very positive buzz around our program" after the bowl win and the nine-win season.

--BAW's been cleared for almost everything but no contact. Said some upper body stuff they can't do. Deebo Samuel is jogging and on the bike but can't do too much.
