Looks like our class drops out of top 20

So we’re 17 in on3 and 16 in 247 but 21 in rivals…. Always find them funny about us. It’s an inexact science but even Spurrier talked about them rating kids high and dropping them when they commit to us.
Here's the last few years. The three are usually pretty close. This year has a wider spread than most.

Sure, it's interesting to see who/how many 5 stars went where and how many 4 stars 'Did We Get' but, 'one and done' has taken on a whole new meaning. Star Retention will be the New Ranking of any importance.

Looks like those lower rated classes of 2021 and 2022 kicked some Top 10 ass this year. Just as a reminder, what was Texas A&M’s class rated last year?
I would put a good deal of that on the transfer portal too. These class rankings are becoming less important when you consider how many of them will even finish out a 4 year career where they sign.
It’s Gamecock football. Unless you want to get in the weeds to commit at all cost to win. Then it will look the same for the next 100 years.

You didn't ask me, but I don't see how it could, since he only signed today and never expressed a commitment before today.

Who was the next one after Tommy Suggs in the 1960s? I don't mean an Allen Mitchell, I mean somebody really good at the position.
A1 was from NC. Good call on Syvelle. Trying to think of the 90s and it's just a little before my time.
Tanneyhill was PA, A1 NC, Mikal Goodman who also played in 99 was from FL.
Before that was definitely before my time.
