Just for discussion, yesterday I read (I think Rixon's article) that listed Jeff Scott as a name on who would be on the list of next coaches.

Again this is just for discussion.

Jeff Scott, current co offensive coordinator at Clemson, and former Clemson player. Lets just assume he's qualified to be our next head coach and feels he's ready for that huge step.

How would the welcome be and would he take the job? Where does an ex-player from a rival school, and now a coordinator, draw the line?

Does the paycheck outweigh the rivalry? Could he be 100% committed to making us successful and could he put the pedal to the metal and beat the school he poured his blood sweat and tears into?

I can see hiring a coach from a rival school, like Chad Morris, but would you want an ex player and now coach from your rival school? You have to remember they probably have been negative recruiting against us for years.

Thoughts?
