Agree. Feel sorry for him. It's easy to say, "leave her". I may be the exception but I would only leave her for 100% custody.

Just confirms again ... “the quality of my life is the quality of my relationships”. I learned the hard way, and this is true, especially when choosing a spouse, but also when choosing friends too.
Absolutely. Nothing sets a person's course to the extent of his/her choices, and those pertaining to relationships are the most defining of all.
