If Silva plays 30+ minutes and plays well, we can hang with anyone.
If he fouls out (like he so regularly does) or only plays 15 minutes, we lose.
SEC ref's know him as a fouler. He gets 1 foul per game that's pure anticipation of a foul. It has nothing to do with whether he fouled anyone.

When Silva is out of the game, we have zero physical presence in the paint. Hasse is not strong enough, quick enough and has no "hops". Guys take rebounds from him all the time. Kotsar is the next best guy in the paint. He can't shoulder the load. It's just not in him. He's very happy to score 6 to 8 ppg and get 4 to 5 rpg. If he were aggressive and driven to succeed, he could avg 15 ppg and 8 rpg. he has the talent to do that. Frink will have to be in peak physical condition to handle things in the paint. He not near that now. Bryant has the leaping ability but not the strength or weight. Hopefully Leveque will come in physically ready but that is so rare for a freshman big. But that's where we are as of today. Cudd is brings zero physicality but he's out with a knee problem. It is what it is.
