We need a leader who is in the business of brokering peace deals - not regime changes. Also one who doeesn't use Ukraine as a money making/laundering outfit.
Great speech - and it worked! The USSR knew they could never keep up with an America that was unified against them. Oddly enough they're no less our enemy today than they were 35 years ago (at least with their current government - you can take the KGB operative out of the Cold War, but you can't take the Cold War out of the KGB operative).
If we could show a united front against them now, even Biden could give a speech that gets Russia out of Ukraine. Unfortunately Putin somehow became a bit of a folk hero to many in the US and that keeps him in power.

I'm not a fan of the person himself (Trump) and hope we get someone new in 2024. However, you have to be blind to not believe that the Biden, Clinton, etc. anti-Russian messaging and made up nonsense along with the odd dealings with Ukraine over the years have a lot to do with the situation as it stands today.

The wall was estimated to cost $10-12 Billion to keep 2 million people a year from crossing. It would have paid for itself in 6 months whether Mexico sprung for it or not.
