I liked her. Never cared much for her daughters.

Is Wynonna her daughter?

She has been sick for a long time with hepatitus C. I am assuming that she was going through some deep depression and chose suicide, if she actually died from suicide.

I saw Wynonna sing at the Peace Center in Grenville about 30 years ago. Naomi actually sang one song with her. Both were awesome singers. I thought Ashley was a good actress, and fine looking to boot!!

They were doing a 10 city tour starting in September.

It's incredible they weren't already in the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Maybe they should reexamine their requirements because the biggest female duo in Country Music History not already in the Hall of Fame is pretty sad.
I agree they should re examine some of what they do. Country music has always been a little quirky in that way.

I was never a big Judd's fan, as my country is pretty limited to a handful of old school guys like Merle and Willie and George Jones. However, I will have to say - of the fairly good amount of celebrities that I have met and/or spent a short time with, Wynonna was the kindest, most down to earth, genuine human being. I was living in Nashville and working in various recording studios back in the mid 90's and The Judd's were recording at the studio I was working at. I was a lowly intern and some of the music folks acted like I was their slave and some of them were very down to earth and very kind. Wynonna and her mother were always extremely kind and friendly towards all of the interns. I remember stopping at a convenience store and as I was walking out, Wynnona was walking in. She called me by my name and pointed at the pack of smokes that I had just bought and said "you know those things are gonna kill ya..." and smiled at me. She and I talked for about 3-4 minutes outside the convenience store. I saw her on a few more sessions at the studio and then have never seen her since but her kindness still stands out to me almost 30 years later. RIP Naomi.
