Exactly. If you are from the south Dukes is the only mayo. Hellman's is number 1 in sales because nation wide it is available and Dukes is not. When you bring out the Dukes, you bring out the best. JMHO.I wasn't aware that they actually make any other brand of mayo.

It's the only one I use when cooking. And they make this great 8oz size just for dips and stuff.
This won't be received well here, but mayonnaise is mayonnaise.

When my wife's daughter moved to KY, it was not available there. We would take some when we went up, or ship it if she ran out (her husband used some of the other crap). Dukes is available there now, no more shipping.
Greasy-ass Dukes mayo reminds me of Hellman's that has been left out on the counter for too long...with the top off.

I remember as a kid taking a case of Dukes mayo when we would visit family in Florida. They were unable to buy it in Florida at the time. It was a joke on the way down. "Did we bring the mayo?" They would have probably sent us back home if we forgot it!
If it ain't Dukes it ain't mayo.
