Of the major four sports at USC, no university's fans support those sports like our fans:

Football:

13th in total attendance at 569,664.
16th in average attendance at 81,381 per game.

Men's Basketball:

35th in total attendance at 125,966.
31st in average attendance at 11,451 per game.

Women's Basketball:

4th in total attendance at 106,594.
1st in average attendance at 11,844 per game.

Baseball:

2nd in total attendance at 305,564.
3rd in average attendance at 7,453 per game.

Top 15 or better in every sport except BBall (which we have been AWFUL AT)

Pretty damn impressive! Sounds like a supportive fan base to me!

Our MBB attendance isn't that bad - there are over 300 division 1 teams.

I'm certain there's not a school out there that would be higher than us in average attendance for more than 2 of those sports this season.

Tennessee in football and MBB;
Ohio State in football and MBB;
LSU in football and baseball;
Nebraska in football and MBB;
Michigan in football and MBB.

That's it, I think, for schools ahead of us in 2 of the 4 major sports.

I'd personally like to see these type of statistics as % capacity. Seems like that would give a better idea of how supportive a fan base is. In an ideal world, you'd control for the size of the school/alumni base, stadium size, financial status (total revenue, net worth, etc.), and success on the field (total wins or win %). And now I feel like a jerk for being so nit-picky and raining on everyone's parade.

% capacity doesn't work for attendance in this case because many venues are no larger than a high school arena/stadium. That's why I didn't include it.

I will say that for basketball, it is around 63% for men (97th) and 66% for women (8th). Also, many women's programs play in smaller arenas that the men's programs at the same school. Again, many arenas in front of us are tiny and wouldn't do any better in a large arena.

For football, we are at almost 101% (8th) and for baseball around 90% (rank unavailable).

I believe womens soccer is tops in attendance too
I wasn't counting soccer as a major sport, but since you mentioned it:

Women's Soccer:

2nd in total attendance at 32,197.
3rd in average attendance at 2,683 per match.

Men's Soccer:

6th in total attendance at 28,619.
5th in average attendance at 2,602 per match.

Also, there is no way that The Graveyard has 5,700 seats like is listed. More like 4,000-4,500.

We all seeing some hope of life with the MBB team... Granted it's not the best, but you have to like the effort by this team...

This ^^^^ . . . plus, this kind of data is very helpful to Ray Tanner when he addresses the BOT asking for permission to spend AD surplus funds or to extend the department's credit* line so, among other reasons, we can keep up with the Jones's of the SEC in the 21st century version of 'The 100 Years War' - which, imo, is a good thing.

* Gotta prove that we will be able to make our future debt payment and operations expenses.

I'm buying it. Been to most of those games, and the attendance was pretty close. Student section has also been packed, with some of them resorting to sitting in the upper deck student sections.

The only game that I have questioned was the Alabama game.
