I’ve watched them play the last couple of games and Mack Brown looks like his kinda checked out. It wouldn’t surprise me if he retires after the season. JMO

Mack’s brother passed away just before the season started. I’m sure that took a lot out of him this season.

When I first saw him on the sidelines last night I was thinking how old he looked. But I just looked it up and he's the same age as Saban, (70). Hard to believe. He seems much older to me.

O no no no…..he was going to rule recruiting in both states and make them a power. It was guaranteed by many on this board nc would be a force because of the home run hire. We would never catch up.

He actually is recruiting pretty well.

The jury is still out on all that. As to recruiting, he is ahead. Terrible loss last night, however. Winning that game could have changed the narrative of his season. We are facing two consecutive games that carry the same potential for us.

Mack looked like he belonged in a group with Joe Biden. If he wants to look younger he should call K and get some of that shoe polish for the hair.

There record is 6-6. Winning that game and going 7-5 after as long as he’s been there doesn’t change a narrative. It actually defines it. His all world QB will leave and except for playing in that weak ass conference…..they aren’t appearing to trend upward.

Well, since he's coming back, I'm thinking more chapters are yet to be written. If the aim is to compare them to us, more chapters are to be written in that regard also. We just might get to play them again shortly, in which case both narratives can be amended at the same time.

Yep.

Remember, Mack left a huge mess at Texas, and he was signing great players. They really haven’t recovered.

Some people wanted him here, but I never did. Figured what would happen is exactly like it’s played out, an initial pop of excitement followed by a decline.
