Pretty short one tonight coming off a bye week, but here's the main takeaways from the call:
--All three injured linemen—Zack Bailey, Cory Helms, Malik Young—are scheduled to be back this week against Vanderbilt. All three practiced Sunday with Young being held out the most, but he’ll be full-go this week. Terry Googer (head) and Chad Terrell (ankle) are questionable.
--Will Muschamp said the team is a long way away, but Deebo Samuel could be back at some point this season. Right now, he’s up and walking around with no problems, but Muschamp said it’s about playing at a high level still.
--Muschamp thinks the team had a good bye week and improves, but he and the coaches won’t know anything until the team plays against Vanderbilt.
--Nothing about bowl eligibility has been mentioned to the team heading into this week.
--Muschamp recruited Ralph Webb, who is from Florida and plays at Vanderbilt, during his time with the Gators. He ultimately didn’t take Webb because of the numbers in the recruiting class.
--The coaches spent the bye breaking down film on the five remaining opponents. Muschamp isn't talking to his team about the added film study, and said this week they're only focusing on Vanderbilt.

On the defensive performances the last few weeks
“I think you build your confidence when you have belief in what you’re doing. I think that’s the thing I see these players have a lot of belief in what we do and how we do things, how we practice, schematically the things we install. That’s when it gets fun for you as a coach, is there’s no questioning of why are doing this or what’s is this. They take it and they run with it.”
On the open week
“We’ll find out against Vanderbilt Saturday at 4 o’clock how good of an open week it was. That’s how I judge if the open week was good: how you play coming off of it. I was pleased with the work we got done Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.”
