- Jake Bentley says that Perry Orth was instrumental in helping him learn everything when Bentley was a young player, and he feels it's his duty to help Dakereon Joyner and Ryan Hilinski learn in the same way.

- Bentley says Bryan McClendon is always bringing in new plays and new things to add to the offense, but the actual offensive scheme is pretty much the same.

- Asked what his goals are for his final season, Bentley says the goals remain the same: beat the East, win the State.

- Both Sadarius Hutcherson and Donell Stanley spoke on Monday and went into a lot of detail about how it’s a big team emphasis to be able to run the ball more effectively against good teams.

- Stanley said that Eric Wolford does a good job of cross training the players at multiple spots. He is primarily working at left guard, but says he's a three-position guy (also center and right guard), and Hutcherson has of course mainly been working at tackle.

- One newcomer we heard some good things about today was Kevin Harris. More on him later on GamecockCentral.

- Josh Vann has worked inside and outside at WR and has also gotten a look at punt return. The team hasn’t focused in on kick return yet, but Vann could get a look there.

- Chad Terrell has been running with the twos at WR and is healthy at this point.
