--Sadarius Hutcherson made his third-career start at left guard and Blake Camper made his first start of the season at right tackle, and just the third start of his three-year career. Other notable players who didn't start: Brad Johnson, Keisean Nixon, Eldridge Thompson, Aaron Sterling, Steven Montac, Antoine Wilder, Damani Staley, Caleb Kinlaw, Chavis Dawkins, Shameik Blackshear.

--South Carolina's defense was stifling in the second half, and especially in the red zone. In four trips inside the 20, Tennessee picked up 32 yards and averaged just 1.5 yards per play.

--D.J. Wonnum may be on his way to another defensive lineman of the week award this week. He finished with six tackles and two sacks. His last two weeks are: 10 tackles, three TFL (two sacks), two pass break ups.

--Parker White went a perfect 3-for-3 on field goals Saturday, but the extra point team botched one with a bad hold. He made kicks from 47, 21 and 36 yards. The 47-yarder was the longest of his career and his first make from over 40 yards. He's now 7-for-14 on the year.

--Skai Moore had nine total tackles Saturday to lead the Gamecocks, five unassisted. That makes 183 solo tackles over his career, and moves him into third all-time behind Rashad Faison (247) and Tony Watkins (204).

--South Carolina's linebackers combined for 17 of the team's 55 tackles and two of the team's seven sacks. Moore and T.J. Brunson were first and second on the defense in tackles. Brunson had seven total.

--Jake Bentley would start slow in the first half but would finish going 8-for-12 with 74 yards in the second half. His 129 total yards were the lowest he's had all season. He did not throw an interception, though, and finished with a 107.7 rating.

--A.J. Turner had a breakout game against the Vols. He rushed for a season-high 86 yards, over 60 yards more than he'd rushed for previously this season. He also scored the game's only touchdown, a 20-yard dash on an end around. He averaged 6.1 yards per carry.

--Bryan Edwards led the Gamecocks with 63 receiving yards, including a 17-yard grab for a first down. Three of his six receptions went for first downs. He leads the team after seven games with 420 yards. He's also on pace for 66 receptions, which would be the most by a wide receiver since Pharoh Cooper had 66 in 2015.

--The Gamecocks logged a season-high seven sacks on the Vols redshirt freshman quarterback for 46 yards. They're now on pace for 29 sacks, eight more than last year.
