That special they had on USC during the half on ESPN made me so proud of the Gamecocks, the university and happy for all of the USC fans. Gosh, Dawn Staley has done herself so proud.

When I started pulling for Carolina circa 1960, they were pretty close to being a joke in all of college football.

The National publicity Carolina got to night was unthinkable back then. Gosh, that they have came a long way. We didn't even get that much publicity in the state back then much less nationally.

How much publicity did we get prior to 1960 re: Big Thursday, given that it was the ONLY football game held that day?

I don't know who much publicity did USC get?

Probably not much seeing as there were not many games on TV those days. Add that to the fact that we lost a ton of the Big Thursday battles.
