You sound like Carolina75 with the "compared to other programs" mentality. It's so much easier to justify the downward spiral in Carolina baseball by using historical trends of other top programs than to place responsibility like it should be placed on the current coaching staff. Basically this is just making an excuse for Holbrook. I see a direct correlation between the drop off in the baseball program and the only man in charge since it began-you know, the one who's never managed before.
The "compare with other programs" comments will continue as long as posters here continue to whine that this is some kind of unprecedented fall from grace in the world of college baseball, a position that is simply not supported by historical facts. It's only unprecedented in the lives of fans who don't follow the sport on a national basis closely.
