Old Baseball Question....

Who did Carolina play as an Independent in baseball from 1972-1982? Seems like it would be tough to get a full schedule of weekend series of great competition together every year. Clemson, UNC, NCState, etc seem like obvious matchups, but filling an entire season sounds tough with other schools playing in-conference schedules.

I see we joined the Metro in 1982, so I guess that would mean series with Virginia Tech, FSU, Louisville, etc....

Was just wondering if anyone remembers who regularly got scheduled during those 10 years.

We played Virginia - they would come south over spring break, Georgia Southern, UnCarolina, Clemron (of course) among others.
