So I'm getting ready to start playing baseball again after I haven't really played too much (competitively) in roughly 5 years. I'm looking for a glove to replace the one I had which was stolen and I had it since I graduated in 2007. Currently using a POS glove for the time being.

Question I have is where can I find a really good glove that won't hurt my wallet? I don't want to spend a fortune on a glove when I might only play 20 games a year. I'd even consider a used glove because I'd rather spend money on a good quality used glove anyday over a cheaply made new one.

Looking for a 11.25in or 11.5in since I play middle infield. Right handed thrower.

Thanks in advance and GO GAMECOCKS!!!

Try "Play it Again Sports" they usually have a good selection of used gloves.

I would recommend a Rawlings Gold Glove Elite. It's a $150 glove, on sale in Dick's for $99.99. If you have the $20 coupon, you pay just over $80 for a great glove. My son has the 11.5 inch and loves it.

The aforementioned glove is a very good one, but before you buy one, slip your hand into a Rawlings Pro Preferred. You will never regret buying the best. This is a glove that you can use forever and pass on to your kid.

Make sure you read the entire post. I don't think he's in the market for a $350 glove. I would guess most people aren't. I recently replaced the Rawlings Dale Murphy signature model glove I got at Wal-Mart in 1988. It's still a damn goodern but the insides are a little torn up.

I'm playing baseball. Tried the softball route a few times. Just can't compare to baseball for me.

And thanks for the input everyone!
